Hello Direct Headset W/ Virtuoso Amplifier

Posted by on March 18, 2012 | No comments

This lightweight headset is designed for those who have to spend their entire days on the telephone. It plugs into your standard phone line and allows you to take calls via headset. There is extra padding around the earpiece that makes it more comfortable than other models. The microphone that Hello Direct uses on this set is top of the line and is specifically designed to cancel out background noises that are going on. Great for those who work at home. When wearing it even a pack of dogs or insistent toddlers can’t be heard by the party on the other end of the line. This particular virtuoso amplifier has been modded to allow for louder sound from the headset. I think that the set starts to get too loud for me at level 3, but like the ability to go all the way to 9 if I had to. If you plan on using this for employees, (instead of yourself), you may want to reprogram the unit to limit the maximum number of decibels that it’s capable of generating. The unit includes a power adapter and 10 foot long cord for those who like to pace back and forth while chatting.  Asking $65

Large Canvas Stronghold Bag

Posted by on March 1, 2012 | No comments

This large bag would be great to take with you on an airline trip.  It’s big enough to hold everything you need, but still compact enough to not have to check the bag.  It’s incredibly sturdy and can handle a ton of weight.  It’s a little dusty, but no tears or stains.  Would also be good for all your tools.  I think this used to be a money bag and was used to transports large amounts of cash.  I’m not sure if this is actually true or not, but it’s fun to pretend at least.  Asking $19

Mario Paint and Mousepad For The SNES

Posted by on March 1, 2012 | No comments

It’s never too early to encourage your budding young artists to consider a career of poverty, misery and self-hatred for their life’s work.   This game may have been made obsolete by the paint program on your computer, but it’s still a fun distraction from some of the more serious games on the SNES platform.  Includes a controller attachment that goes with it.  Asking $3

Judge Dredd Super Nintendo Game

Posted by on March 1, 2012 | No comments

The sticker may be a bit ripped up, but the game still plays great or terribly depending on how you feel about video games based on movies.  Definitely would be good entertainment value for yourself or kids, but not the sort of thing that would be worth paying real money for.  I just want it out of my garage.  Asking $1

Hand Stregtheners Grips

Extra Long Blue Crow Bar

Posted by on February 29, 2012 | No comments

While it may not be the most delicate tool in your garage, a crow bar can come in handy when you need to take things apart.  By taking advantage of basic laws of physics, it’s able to make even the most puny man strong.  Same patented design for over 1000 years now.  Has one end blunted for striking and the other sharpened like a blade with a notch for helping to take out nails, screws or whatever else decides to get in your way.  Asking $10

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles For the NES

Posted by on February 24, 2012 | No comments

This was one of my all time favorites when I was growing up.  TMNT for the original nintendo had a huge influence on many of the arcade style fighting games that followed.  Despite it’s age, it still stacks up as one of the most replayable games out there.  Asking $12

Dean Koontz Seize The Night

Posted by on February 24, 2012 | No comments

Paperback novel by Dean Koontz named Seize the Night.  I haven’t read it yet, so I can’t really tell you too much about it.  Don’t get sucked into renting this via a kindle when you can own this for less.  Old fashioned paper books can be given to your friends when you are done with them or you can resell them if you don’t end up reading it.  Asking $2

Original Nintendo Entertainment System

Posted by on February 24, 2012 | No comments

The Rocketeer For The SNES

Posted by on February 10, 2012 | No comments

Fitting that such a forgettable game would accompany such a forgettable movie.  From now on I’m never going to buy another game based on a movie, but just because I choose to deprive myself doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a look.  Pick it up for the price of a rental and do me a favor by never returning it.  Asking $3

Super Mario Brothers 2 For The Original NES

Posted by on February 10, 2012 | No comments

There are few video game franchises that were more loved than the Mario Bros.  Their tv shows may have never taken off, but their games were solid gold and have since turned into collectables.  Even with all the glitz and special effects that we have today, nothing can compare to the magic that Nintendo had in the early 80′s.  Asking $18

Did Somebody Say Super Nintendo?

Posted by on February 10, 2012 | No comments

It feels so wrong to be selling this, but what can I say I never play it and it needs to be loved.  I saw some guy on ebay added a Jamma board to his and set it up so that he could play any Super Nintendo game on his arcade.  Seriously, save this thing from being chopped up to pieces because I’ve got have a mind to pull this down and start hacking away.  It will forever be a classic loved by millions, they’re not making any more of them.  Comes with 2 controllers, adapter and connector to your TV.  Comes with 5 games: Mortal Kombat, Wings 2 aces high, Dennis the Menace, Bubsy 2 and GP-1 part 2 Asking $100

Rogets International Thesaurus 4th Edition

Posted by on February 10, 2012 | No comments

Use this book to blow your english profs mind.  It keeps you from blowing it by using the same words over and over in your papers.  Just peak inside of the book and it will be much easier to blow a bunch of hot air because you can say the same thing in multiple ways without sounding like you blew off your homework by never reading the book.  Asking $4

Game Genie For The Original NES

Posted by on February 6, 2012 | No comments

Some call it cheating, but how else is a kid going to get through an entire game when his mom will only let him play for 1 hour a day?  Instruction manual included with it along with pages and pages of cheat codes that were published in Nintendo’s magazine.  Somehow I doubt that these codes have made it to the internet yet, but who knows.  At the very least, they will come in handy if you want to explore some of your games but lack the skills to do so on your pwn.  Asking $10

Cardiovascular Leg/Arm Weights

Posted by on February 5, 2012 | No comments

At 5 lbs each, these weights are the perfect size to crank up the volume on your workout just a little bit without completely wearing yourself out.  With a snazzy velcro snap, they easily hold in place during your entire workout.  The two of them can also be combined so that you can wrap it around a beagle.  Much less expansion than letting your dog tear up your couch, give him a little bit more weight to carry on your works and he’ll wear himself out.  A tired dog is a happy one.  Asking $15

Websters New World Childrens Dictionary

Posted by on February 3, 2012 | No comments

I’m not sure how much you should trust their definitions considering that this is the second time that they’ve had to make revisions on the book.  Just as educational for your kids as a medical encyclopedia without all the funny drawings that will raise uncomfortable questions.  All joking aside, it’s actually a pretty handy resource that you can use to help your kids explore the larger world.  Asking $6

Everlast Neck Developer

Posted by on February 2, 2012 | No comments

After sitting at the computer all day, your neck can really start to ache.  Just try this for a minute . . .

slowly look all the way to your left, now to the right, down, up and finally a big circle to stretch it all out.

Does that not feel amazing?  Just think of all the stress that you just unleashed without even having to drive to Antioch.  If you do find that pent up stress is a reoccurring issue, this neck developer can help strengthen the muscles that support your neck.  You clip a small weight (1 – 5lbs in size) to the chain and let it hang while doing these sorts of stretching exercises.  Super important if you’re doing any high impact sports like football or boxing.  Be careful with using too much weight though and it’s probably a good idea to check with your doctor first, especially if you intend to use it for therapy purposes.  Asking $10

Metal Paint Tray

Posted by on February 2, 2012 | No comments

Great for doing interior or exterior walls.  If you’re thinking about selling your home, a new coat of paint can literally add thousands of dollars to the value.  Unused, but a few small rust spots from being neglected too long.  Asking $1
